Status | CLOSED |
Start date | Mon 27 Jun 2022, 9:00am |
End date | Sun 21 Aug 2022, 11:59pm |
Current and possible future users of services for adults with physical disabilities in Bexley are asked to comment on proposed changes to the day service currently provided at Whitehall Lane, Slade Green.
The Council wants to respond to feedback from current users on services and to make them more accessible.
We want to hear your views on the preferred way the physical disability day opportunities are delivered and invite you to consider the following proposed options:
- For the Council to continue to invest in the current location in Slade Green
- For a community based hub to be created within the borough
- To reprocure a day centre but located in a building with improved access to community facilities
- Other options that might emerge from the consultation
The Council is asking people with physical disabilities and anyone with an interest in the way day opportunities are delivered to take part in an online survey.
An easy-read version of the survey is available as a PDF.
Centre users and their families and anyone with an interest in the way day opportunities are delivered in Bexley are also invited along to speak to Council staff during the consultation.
