Registration is now open for Bexley’s Apprenticeship & Participation event!
The annual Bexley Apprenticeship and Participation event will take place on Monday 5 February 2024, at the Civic Offices, Bexleyheath.
Catering specifically to young individuals aged 16 to 24 and their parents or carers, the event invites Bexley's young people to engage with over 40 employers, training providers, and support organisations.
Attendees will have the chance to explore apprenticeships and training opportunities, as well as receive guidance to navigate the path towards their desired courses or jobs.
The event will take place over two sessions: 5.30pm to 7pm and 7pm to 8.30pm.
Cabinet Member for Education, Cllr Caroline Newton said:
The annual Bexley Apprenticeship and Participation Event is a really important event for young people, parents and carers in the borough. By connecting them with employers and training providers, we are helping to provide the first stepping stone for the start of their careers. I’d encourage anyone in the 16-24 age group to come along and get help planning for their start in the workplace.”
