This February half term, Bexley Council libraries are offering a range of exciting free events designed to inspire creativity and fun for children and teenagers across the borough.
As part of #CelebratingBexley, a year-long programme celebrating arts and culture in Bexley, our libraries will be hosting a variety of engaging activities, including:
- cartoon and manga drawing workshops
- Chinese and Indian dance workshops
- creative writing sessions with talented authors
- a songwriting workshop for teens hosted by Arts Train
- a family theatre show for younger children
Cllr Brian Bishop, Cabinet Member for Communities and Housing, said:
I’m thrilled that our libraries are offering such a rich programme of fun and creative events for families this half term. In 2025 we want to celebrate Bexley by encouraging people to explore our cultural gems. Our libraries are the perfect place to experience arts and culture year-round and I encourage families to take full advantage of these fantastic opportunities over the school holidays."
All events are completely free and tickets can be booked online or in-person at your local library.
