‘London Butterfly Gardens’ is opening its doors on Wednesday 10 July at Hall Place & Gardens, just in time for the Summer
Hundreds of butterflies are moving into the newly renovated Glass House at Hall Place & Gardens, creating a much bigger and much more impressive experience than the previous offer.
This impressive Butterfly experience is opening its doors for the first time on Wednesday 10 July and will be open from 10am to 5pm, seven days a week. After the autumn half term, it will be open from 10am to 4pm.
The new butterfly house is designed to provide a vibrant and sustainable environment for the butterflies. Visitors will be enchanted by the serene pond and waterfall, both of which have been expertly repaired and the new planting areas, adding to the tranquil atmosphere.
As part of the transformation, the entrance area is undergoing a major refit and will soon open as a new retail space.
This space is set to offer a variety of butterfly-themed merchandise, allowing visitors to take a piece of their experience home with them.
Since securing the contract in February this year, London Butterfly Gardens has been working hard to create an idyllic and educational environment for all the creatures and visitors.
The old on-site butterfly house is being reimagined and transformed into ‘The Living World’ which will open later this summer. At this captivating new exhibit visitors can see and learn about a metropolis of jungle insects, including leaf and stick insects, praying mantises, jungle nymphs, katydids, spiders, leaf cutting ants and more.
Tickets grants all-day access to both ‘The Living World’ and ‘London Butterfly Gardens’. Both attractions are suitable for all ages and wheelchair accessible.
On-the-door prices are £8.50 for adults and £7.50 for children (Under 5s are £3. Babies free) . Concessions are available for booking online and an extra 10% discount is available for Blue Light Card Holders.
Adults can enjoy this unique experience for £7.50 and children for £6.50 , under 5s £2.50. For more information visit the Hall Place and Gardens website.
While the ‘Living World’ is getting ready to open, entry to the Butterfly Gardens will reduce by £1 each on all tickets with exception of under 5 year olds.
