Apply for a child employment work permit

Use this service to:

• apply for a part-time work permit for a 13, 14, 15 year old child
• apply for a part-time work permit for a 16 year old child who is still studying at school

Completion takes around 15 minutes.

Before you start

You need to provide the following information:

• the child's name, date of birth and address
• details about the child's parent of carer
• details about your business and the type of work they will be doing
• the days and hours they will be working
• a risk assessment
