Use this service to:

Apply for your child or children to receive free school meals.

 Completion takes around 10 - 15 minutes.

Eligibility

You must meet the eligibility criteria to apply.

Before you start

Ensure you have the following details to hand:

  • your National Insurance number or National Asylum Support Service (NASS) reference

If you do not have a National Insurance number or NASS reference, you'll need to provide documents from the Home Office that verifies the type of asylum you are claiming.

Universal Credit

If you're receiving Universal Credit, you will need to upload the full breakdown of your latest Universal Credit payment.

This is to ensure you satisfy the financial criteria set by the Government.

Your latest full breakdown will include

  • your payment for the month
  • your total entitlement before deductions - including the breakdown of your entitlement
  • your total deductions
