Join us in remembrance and prayer
We invite everyone to join us in supporting Ukraine through a vigil and a Sunday service at St. John’s Church, Sidcup.
Vigil
Date: Monday 24 February 2025
Time: 6pm to 8pm

Details:
- marking the 3rd anniversary of the full-scale Russian invasion
- a Book of Remembrance will be available for those who wish to add the names of loved ones lost, whether military or civilian
Sunday Service
Date: Sunday 2 March 2025
Time: 10am

Details:
- praying for peace and remembering those affected by the war
- refreshments will be served after the service
Coffee Morning hosted by Blackfen Community Library
Thursdays 10.30am to 11.30am at Blackfen Community Library and Rooted Coffee House, 7-9 Blackfen Road, Sidcup DA15 9LU.
Are you new to the area or do you know someone who is?
If you are a refugee or an asylum seeker and you don’t know many other people yet or you want to meet up with other people in the same situation as yourself, come along to Rooted Coffee House in Blackfen Community Library and make some new friends.
Free tea and coffee.
English lessons for Ukrainian speakers

We would love you to join us to learn and practice speaking English. Lessons are free, and informal and provide an opportunity to meet fellow Ukrainians. All levels of English speaking ability are welcome - no assessment is required.

This group is for all pre-school children and their carers.
It provides an opportunity for everyone to meet and chat over a drink and for the children to play together.

ESOL classes are held on Thursdays 4pm to 6pm with a Ukrainian tutor.
