Illegal posters and fly posting are unwanted advertising posters, stickers and signs on street furniture, such as lamp posts, railing or trees.

The Council will remove illegal posters from council property, private property and street furniture and act against those responsible for the illegal posting and they will be liable to an on-the-spot Fixed Penalty Notice.

Licensed advertising

The Council allows licensed advertising banners in three major parks and open spaces:

• Hall Place
• St Mary's Recreation Ground
• Danson Park North/South

Banners placed anywhere within the borough are not permitted and will be removed.
