Partnership work to improve outcomes

Marlborough School in Sidcup is working with the Council to develop inclusive practice and knowledge in Bexley mainstream schools, by delivering a new outreach programme.

The programme aims to support the progress of local children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), while supporting them to stay in their school. This initiative, is being implemented as part of the wider Department for Education Safety Valve Programme. The Safety Valve Programme is designed to enhance the education offer available for children and young people with more complex needs.
