Support and payment for you as a provider
- our Host and Support providers receive a weekly payment of £300, and the young people will get a weekly allowance to pay for their essentials, like food and clothes
- once you have completed your initial questionnaire, we will assess your information and book a time convenient for you to visit your home
- when this has happened, you will have a detailed Host and Support Scheme assessment, a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and a Health check
- if all goes to plan the next stage will be to attend a Host and Support Scheme Panel. Just like in a job interview, the panel will ask you to meet a set of criteria
- once you have become a Host and Support Provider, you will take part in mandatory training and be allocated a supervising social worker who will meet with you regularly. You will have opportunities to expand your skill sets with additional training opportunities. Additionally, there are monthly group supervisions with other providers
- outside of office hours, we have a 24-hour telephone line which is available every day of the year. As a Bexley Host and Support provider, you are never alone
